𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂?
I grew up a reserved, humble, lonely and overweight nerd. In high school, I had a small circle of friends and lacked self-confidence. Without telling you my entire life story: I know what it feels like to sit in a meeting full of great ideas, but afraid to speak out. I know what it feels like to stand in front of executives and become tongue tied. I know what it feels like to know what I want but be afraid to ask for it.
𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨, 𝙄 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙦𝙪𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙚 𝙛𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙤𝙪𝙨 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. 𝙄 𝙧𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚-𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙢𝙮 𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮.
✅ I’ve changed the course of the quality philosophy of a multi-billion dollar company.
✅ I’ve brought reliability testing capabilities to facilities that never had them before.
✅ I’ve created training courses and convinced management to deploy to the leadership.
As I looked back on all of those - I found was none of it was part of my technical knowledge.
𝗜𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀. It is those people skills that I found my passion, as a Trainer and Coach.
𝙄𝙩’𝙨 𝙢𝙮 𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙙𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙨.
